Old Hollywood VS New Hollywood.

Old Hollywood VS new Hollywood

101 Dalmatains (old)

The film is about two Dalmatians that have 101 Dalmatian puppies, and the owners feel as though they can not look after them all properly, so a woman comes along (Cruella De Ville) and tries to kidnap all the puppies. This film in 1969 earned a rough profit of $320.6 million. The target audience of this film is 6-30, as it is supposed to be a children's film, however it also connects with adults, as adults are also featured in the film. The film was one that turned out to be a complete classic and has been re-made over and over again in different ways to become more modern. The film director was Steven Herek, The 1969 version of this film is still played to this day, but is seen as very dated and not many people who are the new generation will want to watch this particular one, they will want to watch the new 2016 one that is due to come out.

101 Dalmatians (new)

The new 101 Dalmatians film is supposed to come out in 2016, by this film coming out this year, it creates an extreme sense of moderninity to do with this re-make compared to the first film made in 1969. It conveys the same storyline, but most things will probably be edited to highlight things that people are interested in from this generation. The editing will be better in this film due to the fact of the different cameras that will be used as they are very high tech compared to the first one from 50 years ago. There will be more different types of camera shots used also, there will be stars in this film which will also create a secondary target audience as fans of that star will want to watch it as well seeing as they will be in it. This creates a good sense of audience.
